The EDAY Ambassador program:
Put your passion for the environment to work in 2011 and help Earth Day New York engage, energize, and educate our community on how to make a positive impact on our global and local environment.
The EDAY Ambassador commitment
Engage others through your personal social media connections. Commit to spreading Earth Day New York news on Twitter, Facebook and other social sites. Follow EDNY, then re-tweet and post regular updates to your followers on Facebook.
Act as a spokesperson for Earth Day New York. Talk the talk and walk the walk by getting the word out about EDNY annual campaigns.
Represent EDNY at community events, including Earth Day celebrations every April.
Teach the importance of celebrating Earth Day every day to our younger generation. Support our spea
ker’s bureau and teach-in initiatives at New York City area schools and colleges.
Help when help is needed. We always need an extra hand, so don't be shy about volunteering your time and talent.

Receive an EDAY Ambassador certificate of appreciation upon completing 10 hours of EDAY Ambassador approved activities.
